Tips to changing to Unitel long distance service. Thaw the freeze. Take the freeze off your local line. It is a good idea to have a PIC freeze (anti-slamming) taken off of your local line. In order to change to Unitel long distance phone service a call to your local phone service provider first. Check to see if there is a PIC freeze on your line. If it exist, request the PIC freeze to be taken off. Once your new Unitel long distance phone service has been switched, call your local phone service and put the freeze back on.
